MARINE STORAGE & MOORING GALLEON STORAGE & MOORING

Galleon Storage and Mooring is the first boatyard, on the Norfolk Broads to offer a ‘dry stack’ system of boat storage which does away with the need to antifoul boats, saving the environment and the cost of antifouling to the boat owner.

We offer a secure environment enclosed by security fencing and floodlights in addition to 24 hr CCTV. Each customer is provided with the gate code for access out of hours.

We can launch a boat in just 15 minutes.

A small number of moorings are also available.

How we work:

Your boat is stored on our dry stands or your own trailer within our boatyard.
On the day you want to go boating just call the yard, up to 1/2 an hour before your arrival. No need to book.
We either launch your boat using our specialist forklift or by tractor on our private slipway.
On return from your trip, leave your boat secured to one of the moorings in the cut ready to be moved back to its storage stand/trailer.

During the busy summer season, we do prefer our customers to contact us the day prior to needing their boat to allow for planning of lifts.

Rates:

A minimum 3 month term applies.

Berth & Launch Service & Boatyard Moorings - Boats over 5 mtrs - £20 mtr/month (Special reduced rates for smaller boats.) Your berthing rates include unlimited boat launch during the year, use of car park, free water and toilet.
Storage Only (no lifting included) - £15.70 mtr/month
Moorings Riverside (Norfolk Bank) - £820 per annum
Winter Storage - Reduced storage rates for November to March. Please enquire.

A current Insurance Certificate showing limit of Third Party Liability is required prior to lifting your boat. A valid Boat Safety Scheme certificate (if applicable) is also required.
